From time to time, St. John's U.C.C. Members may request not to have their names, photos, etc. posted on any St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus web site by submitting a ‘Letter of Omission’ in writing to the church office stating the request. The ‘Letter of Omission’ will be kept strictly confidential and will remain on file in the church office. The church office will forward the request, in name only to the church web master to comply with the omission request.
St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus will not be held responsible for the publication and or display of any names, photos, videos, etc. of non-church members visiting our church.
The full names of the children of St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus will not be posted when accompanying a photo. Children’s names will be restricted to a first name and last initial when posted with photos and in video content. A child’s full name may be posted however, when it is not used in conjunction with a photo or video i.e. acolyte schedule, Boy Scout roster, newsletters, etc.
Members may request not to have their children’s names, photos, etc. posted on the St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus web sites by submitting a ‘Letter of Omission’ in writing to the church office stating the request. The ‘Letter of Omission’ will be kept strictly confidential and will remain on file in the church office. The church office will forward the request, in name only to the church web master to comply with the omission request.
St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus will not be held responsible for the publication and or display of any children’s names, photos, videos, etc. of non-church members visiting our church.
A child of St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus is a confirmed member under the age of 18 or a child of a member who is under 18 years of age.
St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus may, at its discretion, create and maintain private (member only) sites accessible only to certain members of our congregation. Private sites may include: Church Committees, Scout Groups, Youth Associations, Sunday School, Church Clubs and Activities, Choir, etc. These sites would be used to inform its members of upcoming events/activities, post announcements and share photos with its members.
Private sites must also abide by the St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus Privacy Policy guidelines.
Members of these groups may request not to have their children’s names, photos, etc. posted on a St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus secure site by submitting a ‘Letter of Omission’ in writing to the church office stating the request.
St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus will abide by the Privacy Policy for non-members who participate in church sponsored groups/organizations. All ‘Letter of Omission’ requests, both member and non-member, will be kept strictly confidential and will remain on file in the church office. St. John’s U.C.C. Emmaus may, at its discretion, allow site links to be placed on certain pages of our Web site to be accessible to users of our site in place of St. John's U.C.C. Emmaus created/sponsored pages. Site links (third-party sites) may include: Scout Groups, Youth Associations, Mission Projects Web sites, etc. These sites would be used to inform users of upcoming events/activities, post announcements and share photos with its visitors.
