Helen Keller	Welcome! To St. John's News Online Edition! St. John's Virtual Ministry A Donkey, Palms, a Pastor and a Crowd In Emmaus. St. John's U.C.C. Emmaus welcomed all to join in a Palm Sunday Donkey Walk simulating when Jesus came into Jerusalem on a donkey and people laid palms down for him to walk on instead of the dirt road. Top Missionary Visit to St. John’s On March 30th, Jeffrey Mensendiek, a Global Ministries missionary to Japan, participated in both the 8:00 & 10:30 AM worship services. Jeffrey, the son of missionaries, grew up in Japan. Today he ministers to the youth who are struggling with an inner anger and sense of meaninglessness. Japanese society is undergoing transition. Life is becoming more stressful and unstable as the gap between poor and rich increase while Japan is taking strident steps toward militarism and nationalism. Light refreshments followed the 10:30 service.
